We’re glad to report that the Kilkenny People newspaper has an article with photograph of the legal transfer of ownership of the old VEC secondary school in Castlecomer. The property was owned by Kilkenny VEC, and they transferred ownership to the local enterprise group – Castlecomer Enterprise Group.
This local group has been in operation for a number of years and it promotes Castlecomer as a place to set up new businesses. Interested parties can get assistance from the group, including rental of a space in the old VEC building at low rates.
