The firm was established by Kevin G.Keohane in 1941 and has been providing legal services for over 80 years.

Michael Condon
Michael was born in 1954 and holds an Honours B.C.L. Degree from University College Dublin. He was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in Ireland in 1977. Before purchasing the practice, he worked with Robert Pierse & Associates, Solicitors, Listowel, County Kerry.
In 1980, he purchased the Firm from Mr. K.G. Keohane and the firm became known as Keohane Condon & Co. He has lectured extensively on all areas of the Law to various organisations in the South East of Ireland. He is a past President of the Kilkenny Solicitors Bar Association and past Chairman of Kilkenny City Fine Gael.
Michael has held the position as Chairperson on a number of disciplinary and regulatory bodies governing different professions in Ireland.
His interests include politics, economics, golf and tennis.
John D. Holland
John holds an Honours B.C.L. Degree from University College Dublin, a B.B.S. Honours Degree from the Institute of Public Administration Dublin, an LLM (Master of Laws) from the Law Society of Ireland together with a Master of Law with Distinction from Northumbria University, Newcastle, England.
In 1992 he was admitted to the Roll of Irish Solicitors. Additionally, he was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in England and Wales in 2013.
He has been a tutor and lecturer on a number of academic courses with the Institute of Public Administration, Dublin: Accounting Technicians of Ireland: Law Society of Ireland and Kilkenny Vocational Education Centre.
John became a Partner in the Firm in 1997 at which stage the Firm became known as Holland Condon Solicitors.
John specialises in Wills, Administrating the Estates of deceased persons, Property, Injury Claims*, Litigation.

How much do Solicitors charge?
The amount a Solicitor charges in Ireland is a matter for the Solicitor and client to agree. Do I need to travel and physically attend at the Solicitors office?
No, in this modern age with electronic communications, your physical presence is not necessary at our offices in Castlecomer, County Kilkenny. We can arrange online face to face meetings. In some situations, we will require to establish your identity and place of residence, however, we try and make this as pain free and as easy as possible.
